Juan Claudio Navarro
Juan Claudio is a software designer and programmer, with many years' experience of developing solutions for both the private and public sectors. One of his first programming assignments was the updating of the user interface of Sistemas Integrales' statistical software ARIEL+. Since then, among many other achievements, he has developed a tool for
generating reports from relational data bases, for the Ministry of Education of Côte d'Ivoire; a workflow and an evaluation service of numerical and conditional rules, for Surinam's Ministry of Social Affairs and Housing; and information systems for social and development agencies of the Chilean government.
Juan Claudio combines his professional work with an academic career, specialising in object orientation and Java applications. He has conducted many training courses, for private companies and government departments, and he taught for several years at the University of Chile, in its Computer Science and Industrial Engineering Departments.
He speaks Spanish, French and English, and lives in Santiago.
